Jumping Jack Flash

Thanks to Bill for the pic

I'd like to think we look a bit like a band photo for a northern folk outfit moodily contemplating the creep of industrialisation from the edge of the moor.  It's actually some of the Ely10 birders meeting up to have a look for Jack Snipe near Sutton.  We spent an hour or so looking for these birds which were new species for some of the group, success was considerable with a conservative count of 3 birds seen several times over, springing up from just in front or behind us and showing well in flight.
